We Have No Need of Other Worlds (We Need Mirrors)

“The idea is fascinating…it illustrates the power of old, real things over virtual ones.” — CNET

For January 2026, I produced Graham Sack’s immersive performance entitled, We Have No Need of Other Worlds (We Need Mirrors) as part of Under the Radar 2026, co-produced by and presented at Onassis ONX’s new downtown space. Part elegy, part biometric séance, the work integrates volumetric light technology, spatialized sound, and interactive technology to link performers and audience members to a digital phantasm—a distortion in the fabric of the universe—asking whether memory itself might be a signal traveling through time, seeking someone to receive it.
